Curriculum vitae

Fabian Lurz completed his master’s degree in information and communication technology (focus on the realization of information and communication systems) in June 2013 with distinction and received his Ph.D. degree in 2019 at the Institute for Electronics Engineering on the topic “Wireless readout method for resonant sensors based on instantaneous frequency measurement“.

Since September 2013, he has been working at the Institute for Electronics Engineering (LTE), where he headed the research group “Circuits, Systems & Hardware Test” from June 2017 to May 2020. In June 2020, he joined the Institute of High-Frequency Technology at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) as a senior engineer and research group leader. In October 2023, he accepted an appointment at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU) as a university professor and heads the Chair of Integrated Electronic Systems In parallel, he remains active as a scientific project leader at LTE.

His research focuses on system and circuit design, signal processing, and machine learning, particularly for wireless SAW sensing and low-power radar systems.
